Peer Review Policy

Rigorous double-blind peer review ensuring quality and integrity of published research.

Double-Blind Peer Review

IJARI employs a double-blind peer review process for all submitted manuscripts. In this model, both the identity of the authors and the identity of the reviewers are concealed from each other throughout the review process.

This approach minimizes bias and ensures that each manuscript is evaluated purely on the quality of the research, the rigor of the methodology, and the significance of the findings.

Review Stages

1

Initial Screening

The editorial team checks the manuscript for scope fit, formatting compliance, plagiarism, and basic quality. Manuscripts that do not meet initial criteria are desk-rejected within 3–5 days.

2

Reviewer Assignment

Manuscripts passing initial screening are assigned to 2–3 expert reviewers in the relevant field. Reviewers are selected based on expertise, publication record, and availability.

3

Peer Review

Reviewers evaluate the manuscript for originality, methodology, results validity, literature review, and presentation quality. They provide detailed feedback and a recommendation.

4

Editorial Decision

Based on reviewer recommendations, the handling editor makes a decision: Accept, Minor Revisions, Major Revisions, or Reject.

5

Author Revision

If revisions are requested, authors submit a revised manuscript along with a point-by-point response to reviewer comments.

6

Final Decision

The revised manuscript may undergo a second round of review if major changes were requested. The final acceptance decision is made by the editor.

Reviewer Responsibilities

Reviewers invited by IJARI are expected to:

  • Provide honest, constructive, and detailed feedback.
  • Evaluate the manuscript objectively without personal bias.
  • Maintain confidentiality of the manuscript and review process.
  • Decline the review if they have a conflict of interest with the research or authors.
  • Complete their review within the agreed timeline (typically 2–3 weeks).
  • Flag any concerns regarding plagiarism, ethical violations, or data integrity.
